Reuters: Franken to be declared Senate victor in Minnesota

The State has compiled a list of nine S.C. political figures whom it believes will influence national politics this year. Overall, it's a solid list, though I would have ranked Clyburn ahead of Graham and I have no idea what DeMint's doing on there -- especially since conservative GOP leaders are about as en vogue right now as platform shoes, bell-bottoms and other Nixon-Era paraphernalia. Anyway, you can check out the full list here.
If passed, the bill would lengthen the mandatory wait time from 1 hour to 24 hours. It would also stipulate that health care providers give women a list of clinics that give free ultrasounds. Read full article and watch the report here.
